For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of GOD without effect? GOD forbid: yea, let GOD be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That Thou mightest be justified in Thy sayings, and mightest overcome when Thou art judged. But if our unrighteousness commend the righteousness of GOD, what shall we say? Is GOD unrighteous who taketh vengeance? (I speak as a man) GOD forbid: for then how shall GOD judge the world? For if the Truth of GOD hath more abounded through my lie unto His glory; why yet am I also judged as a sinner? And not rather, (as we be slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we say,) Let us do evil, that good may come? whose damnation is just. What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin; As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: (Rom 3:3-10)
In this letter to the Roman church, GOD through Paul, spoke of those who did not believe, or did not obey, or acted contrary to their stated confession. GOD tells us that regardless, He is Truth. That no matter who, in this life, may slander Him, or His Word, He is Truth. We must not act contrary to Him, when we claim His Name, for He is Truth. We have His Word on it. He does not need us to defend Him, though we may give an answer to every man that asketh us a reason of the hope that is in us with meekness and fear. He is Truth, and His Word is Truth, without any mixture of error, as it is the written record of Him, and reveals Him to us, that we might know Him and in repentance and faith in His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary, have everlasting life with Him.
Those of us who know Him, and have Truth and Life in Him, are to be His witnesses of that Truth. We are, as His ambassadors, to take His Word to this lost and dying world, living the Gospel we preach, in the power of the Holy Spirit, and teach all nations every thing He has commanded us. We are to know Him, and having tasted that the Lord is gracious, speak His Truth wherever He sends us. All need to hear the message of Truth, since all are under judgment and condemnation for sIn without the saving grace of Jesus Christ. Those who are born again, are to go where He sends us and preach the Gospel to every one, that they too might know Truth and be saved, until He comes again for His own.
Until that day, as ministers of reconciliation, we are to minister to the hurting and in need, as GOD provides. We are not to sIn as we please, but in obedience to Him, we are to grow in grace, through His Word, and love one another as His disciples. As we go, we are to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ to those we meet, that they might hear and believe, and in believing have life in His Name.
For GOD is not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance and the knowledge of the Truth. Jesus loves you and wants to establish a covenant relationship with you that is real and personal. Surrender to Him on His terms and He will give you a brand new life of discipleship and fellowship with Him that is abundant and everlasting. GOD calls you to trust Him and what He has already done for you to pay your sIn debt. He has provided the only way of reconciliation with GOD with forgiveness and Salvation through Jesus Christ, the Son of GOD who is GOD the Son, to give you a new life in Christ. Turn away from yourself and your sIn and turn to Him alone for eternal Life, now and always.
