Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.
Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see GOD.
Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of GOD.
Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.
Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for My sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in Heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you. (Mat 5:3-12)
There are both physical and spiritual aspects of all these blessings and conditions. We don't seek the blessing, we are blessed when we seek GOD. Our focus should be on Him and His righteousness, even when trouble and persecution come our way. GOD will provide, and bless, our faithfulness and our obedience to Him, which we do not out of guilt, or works, but because of our faith in His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary.
We focus on Him in order to live for and give to others. To minister to the hurting as GOD gives the increase. To disciple one another in love and in His Word so that we may grow in grace and the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. We proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ to all who will hear. As we go, we share His message of hope and the Gospel so that those who hear will believe, and believing have life in His Name.
For GOD is not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance and the knowledge of the Truth. Jesus loves you and wants to establish a covenant relationship with you that is real and personal. Surrender to Him on His terms and He will give you a brand new life of discipleship and fellowship with Him that is abundant and everlasting. GOD calls you to trust Him and what He has already done for you to pay your sIn debt. He has provided the only way of reconciliation with GOD with forgiveness and Salvation through Jesus Christ, the Son of GOD who is GOD the Son, to give you a new life in Christ. Turn away from yourself and your sIn and turn to Him alone for eternal Life, now and always.
In Christ,
