These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto Him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren. (Pro 6:16-19)
While this list is not exhaustive, it is wise for us to look at what it does cover: Pride, Lying, Murder, Wickedness, Mischief, False witness, and Discord.
All of these have to do with how we treat each other. Thinking ourselves better than others because of some perceived difference like skin color, or nationality, or education; Not speaking or doing Truth especially between brethren; and hurting or killing those who are not at fault. All of these are an abomination to GOD because we are created in His image, and each of us is loved. Jesus came to earth and put to death the flesh for the sins of all mankind, not just a select few. It is a gift that is offered to all, not that all will receive it.
GOD wants us to care for and love each other as He does. We are to have the mind of Christ; who humbled Himself and was obedient to the Father in all things, even the death of the Cross for us.
You can only do this if you know Him, and have a secure relationship with Him by Faith in His finished work on the cross. Without Christ, and the Truth and Life He gives, we sin against GOD because we are sinners. But GOD has provided us with deliverance from our sin.
Learn from GOD's Word; GOD hates sin. He wants the sinner (which we all are) to be saved from his sin and be restored to a right relationship with Him. Come today and be forgiven and cleansed.
