For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. For all the Law is fulfilled in one Word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another. This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the Law. (Gal 5:13-18)
Our liberty in Christ is not to do our will or to sIn, but both to do and to will of His good pleasure. The Law is satisfied in Christ, and we who are in Christ walk in Him, to do His will and accomplish His work here. We are to bear one another's burdens and so fulfil the law of Christ. We are to love one another as Christ loved us, that all may know we are His disciples. This is the Spirit and intent of the Law and the fruit of the Spirit He produces is us will accomplish it when we get out of the way.
It is a constant battle, and we must be vigilant and armoured against the attacks of the flesh, the world, and the devil, while we are here in this lost and dying world. This sinful world is broken, and we are not to be of it, even while we are in it. We are to be Holy, for He is Holy, and has called us to Himself and to be conformed to the image of His dear Son through the washing of the Word which we hide in our hearts that we might not sIn against GOD.
The engrafted Word and the empowering of the Holy Ghost that is within us enables us through Him to live for Jesus Christ until He takes us Home to be with Him. We are His ambassadors, and represent His Kingdom. We are not trying to bring it in by our works, for it will come in His good timing, but sharing His love and mercy to those estranged from GOD by their sin, so that they may repent and be translated from the Kingdom of darkness into His marvellous light.
We are His ministers of reconciliation to point people to Christ and peace with GOD through the preaching of the Cross and the works we do in Christ, not for Salvation but by and for our Lord Jesus. We minister in our communities and to our neighbours with the love of GOD so they may see Jesus in us, the hope of Glory. We love one another and disciple one another in the Word so that we may grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus from His Scriptures. We proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ to all who will hear, and as we go, we share the Gospel so that those who repent and place their faith in His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary may have life in His Name.
For GOD is not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance and the knowledge of the Truth. Jesus loves you and wants to establish a covenant relationship with you that is real and personal. Surrender to Him on His terms and He will give you a brand new life of discipleship and fellowship with Him that is abundant and everlasting. GOD calls you to trust Him and what He has already done for you to pay your sIn debt. He has provided the only way of reconciliation with GOD with forgiveness and Salvation through Jesus Christ, the Son of GOD who is GOD the Son, to give you a new life in Christ. Turn away from yourself and your sIn and turn to Him alone for eternal Life, now and always.
