For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through GOD to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of GOD, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; (2Co 10:3-5)
GOD did not leave His church here to fight physical battles for the Kingdom, nor try to bring that Kingdom here on earth. Our weapons are the Word of God, through the Spirit of GOD, and prayer. Our enemies are not of this world either, for we wrestle not with flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. We are to stand strong on our knees, equipped with the Word of GOD which we are able to wield properly and judiciously because we have studied and can rightly divide the Word, which is sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
The Spirit of GOD and the Word of GOD gives us discernment and clarity as we look through His lens to see the Truth. The Truth about Him, ourselves, others, and the world we are strangers in, that we may speak the Truth in love into every situation and with the full Armour of GOD upon us, cast down every vain thought and evil imagination this world brings against us and against our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
We are to have the mind of Christ, with the Word of Christ, so that others can see Christ in us, the hope of Glory. Because Jesus is both Lord and Christ, we serve Him as ambassadors of the Kingdom of GOD, until He brings the Kingdom of Heaven here on earth and rules for a thousand years from Jerusalem. We are to minister to those who are hurting and in need, for our GOD shall supply all our needs. We are to disciple one another in the Word, so that we may grow in grace and in the knowledge of Him, loving one another for we are all one in Christ. We are to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ and the forgiveness He provides to those that repent and trust in Him alone for Salvation. As we go, we are to share the Gospel, so that those who hear and believe may have life in His Name.
For GOD is not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance and the knowledge of the Truth. Jesus loves you and wants to establish a covenant relationship with you that is real and personal. Surrender to Him on His terms and He will give you a brand new life of discipleship and fellowship with Him that is abundant and everlasting. GOD calls you to trust Him and what He has already done for you to pay your sIn debt. He has provided the only way of reconciliation with GOD with forgiveness and Salvation through Jesus Christ, the Son of GOD who is GOD the Son, to give you a new life in Christ. Turn away from yourself and your sIn and turn to Him alone for eternal Life, now and always.
