Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the Gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures; And that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures: And that He was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: (1Co 15:1-5)
The Gospel of Jesus Christ, the only Way to the Father, the Truth of forgiveness and reconciliation through faith in His finished and perfect work the Cross of Calvary, the Life everlasting because He loves us enough to take our place and pay our sIn debt. That is Good News, that He went willingly and humbly to the Cross, by the direct determination and counsel of GOD. From Gen 3, to Psalm 22, to Isaiah 53, He was crucified according to the Scriptures, dead and buried, and rose again after three days and three nights in the ground according to the Scriptures, that those who believe, not just the facts, but in Him, should not perish but have everlasting life.
GOD is Holy, and created everything perfect and complete. When we sinned against GOD in Adam, our rebellion cursed all mankind to a sIn nature, and all nature to the bondage of sIn. Jesus Christ, the Son of GOD who is GOD the Son, put on flesh that He might redeem us from sIn and death. Those who believe and receive Him by faith and repentance are passed from death unto life, and there is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus. We are free, not to sIn, for that is still rebellion and disobedience to GOD, but to live in Christ and do His will and work in this broken and sinful world.
Our work here, as His ambassadors and ministers of reconciliation is to minister to the needs of those around us, as GOD gives the increase that they might see Christ in us, the hope of Glory. We are to disciple one another in the Word of GOD that we may grow thereby. We are love one another as Christ loved us, that all may know we are His disciples, in that we love one another. We are to take His Gospel to all we meet, and as we go, prepared to give an answer to every man that asketh us a reason of the hope that is in us, with meekness and fear, we teach all nations, and proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ to all, that those who believe might have life in His Name.
For GOD is not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance and the knowledge of the Truth. Jesus loves you and wants to establish a covenant relationship with you that is real and personal. Surrender to Him on His terms and He will give you a brand new life of discipleship and fellowship with Him that is abundant and everlasting. GOD calls you to trust Him and what He has already done for you to pay your sIn debt. He has provided the only way of reconciliation with GOD with forgiveness and Salvation through Jesus Christ, the Son of GOD who is GOD the Son, to give you a new life in Christ. Turn away from yourself and your sIn and turn to Him alone for eternal Life, now and always.
