And Jesus said unto them, I AM the bread of life: he that cometh to Me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on Me shall never thirst. But I said unto you, That ye also have seen Me, and believe not. All that the Father giveth Me shall come to Me; and him that cometh to Me I will in no wise cast out. For I came down from Heaven, not to do Mine own will, but the will of Him that sent Me. And this is the Father's will which hath sent Me, that of all which He hath given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. And this is the will of Him that sent Me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on Him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. (Joh 6:35-40)
The Bread of Heaven gave manna in the wilderness to provide the needs of His people, has come and become a man, yet without sIn, that He might offer Himself for our ultimate need, Salvation by grace through faith. The Word of GOD made flesh put to death that flesh that we might have life, and have it more abundantly. This has always been GOD's plan for those who have rebelled against Him and are judged guilty of sIn, that they might be born again and redeemed from their sIn, by faith in Him in repentance and obedience to His Word as revealed to them.
Now that His finished and perfect work on the Cross is complete, we look to Him in faith and receive Him by trusting in His Word and repenting of our sins. We, who are now dead to and the Law, and to sIn, now live in the righteousness which comes by faith. We are saved by His grace, not to continue in sIn, but to live in and through Him unto righteousness and obedience to His will and Word. This is the message of the ages, that GOD's people are to tell to all people, every where.
We live and work in Him to do His will and minister as His ambassadors, representing our King and the Kingdom. We meet the needs of those around us who are hurting as GOD gives the increase. We disciple one another in love and in the Word that we may all grow up into the full measure of Christ, conformed to His image as revealed in His Word which speaks of Him. We take the Gospel from His Word and proclaim His Good News to those we meet that they may believe and repent and have life in His Name.
For GOD is not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance and the knowledge of the Truth. Jesus loves you and wants to establish a covenant relationship with you that is real and personal. Surrender to Him on His terms and He will give you a brand new life of discipleship and fellowship with Him that is abundant and everlasting. GOD calls you to trust Him and what He has already done for you to pay your sIn debt. He has provided the only way of reconciliation with GOD with forgiveness and Salvation through Jesus Christ, the Son of GOD who is GOD the Son, to give you a new life in Christ. Turn away from yourself and your sIn and turn to Him alone for eternal Life, now and always.
