Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of GOD; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth GOD. He that loveth not knoweth not GOD; for GOD is love. In this was manifested the love of GOD toward us, because that GOD sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. Herein is love, not that we loved GOD, but that He loved us, and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if GOD so loved us, we ought also to love one another. No man hath seen GOD at any time. If we love one another, GOD dwelleth in us, and His love is perfected in us. Hereby know we that we dwell in Him, and He in us, because He hath given us of His Spirit. (1Jn 4:7-13)
Loving one another, as GOD has loved us, is not about an emotional feeling, or romantic love, or even brotherly affection, though those also are from GOD who created us in His image. This is referring to both head and heart action in preferring others before ourselves, sacrificing for others, and giving of ourselves to invest in the lives of others. Jesus demonstrated it perfectly when He humbly and willingly obeyed the Father and went in our place, to pay our sIn debt, on the Cross of Calvary.
His Spirit in us, manifests not only the love of GOD as His fruit, but also as we work out our own Salvation, true love for others in our thoughts, words, and deeds. When we reckon ourselves dead to sin, and alive in Christ, and walk in the Spirit, He is able to direct our paths, guide us to those who need His love and mercy, and accomplish His will and work in this sinful world. We are the body of Christ, and when people see us, they should see Jesus, the hope of Glory, as we minister to them as His ambassadors.
He has paid the debt for our sIns that we might be free, and now liveth to make intercession for His saints and servants, that we might live in Him at liberty to do His will and work until He takes us Home to be with Him. We are free to minister to others around us who are hurting and in need as He provides for His people. We are to serve one another in the Gospel as we grow in grace and in our knowledge of Him as His Spirit conforms us to the image of His dear Son. We are at liberty to go into this lost and dying world with the Good News of Jesus Christ, the Son of GOD who is GOD the Son, and share Him with those that will hear, believe, and repent, that they might have life in His Name.
For GOD is not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance and the knowledge of the Truth. Jesus loves you and wants to establish a covenant relationship with you that is real and personal. Surrender to Him on His terms and He will give you a brand new life of discipleship and fellowship with Him that is abundant and everlasting. GOD calls you to trust Him and what He has already done for you to pay your sIn debt. He has provided the only way of reconciliation with GOD with forgiveness and Salvation through Jesus Christ, the Son of GOD who is GOD the Son, to give you a new life in Christ. Turn away from yourself and your sIn and turn to Him alone for eternal Life, now and always.
