Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of GOD, that He may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon Him; for He careth for you. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. But the GOD of all grace, who hath called us unto His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. To Him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. (1Pe 5:6-11)
When trouble comes, as it surely must in this sinful and broken world, we need to focus on Christ. We can endure and accomplish that which the Father directs or allows because of the strength which He provides for those that are His. Then we can testify of His power and ability, and He will get the glory which He deserves for doing a work of grace in our lives.
We must also be about our Father's business, telling all who will hear about His love, mercy and grace. Sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the Good News of His Salvation with those around us who do not know Him, while encouraging and edifying those who do. We are to engage and enable people to enjoy Jesus Christ.
For GOD is not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance and the knowledge of the Truth. Jesus loves you and wants to establish a covenant relationship with you that is real and personal. Surrender to Him on His terms and be born again by faith in His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary in your place and He will give you a brand new life of discipleship and fellowship with Him that is abundant and everlasting. He calls you to Himself, and has already paid for your sIn, believe His Word and receive His Salvation today.
In Christ,
