But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, (2Pe 3:8-11)
There is coming a day when all that we know here will be no more. Only that which is done for Christ will last into eternity. GOD knows that day and He is waiting on those that do not know Him to surrender to Him on His terms. He is also waiting on His children to spread the message of Hope to this lost and dying world. But one day, His patience will be completed, and He will return, first for His own, and then to judge the world and all those that have rejected Him.
Until that day those that do not yet have forgiveness of their sIn because of their faith in His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary still have an opportunity to receive Jesus Christ and be born again. We who know Him are to be about our Father's business and tell them the Good News of Jesus Christ. We are to preach the Word without compromise, share His love without partiality, and tell all who will hear of His mercy and grace, and what He is doing in our lives so that they will want what we have.
Jesus loves you and wants to establish a covenant relationship with you that is real and personal. Repent, that is, turn away from your sIn and to a Holy GOD that must punish sIn, and He will forgive your sIn and give you a brand new life of discipleship and fellowship with Him that is abundant and everlasting. He is still waiting for all those that will come to believe in Him and trust Him for Salvation.
In Christ,
