And it came to pass, when Jacob saw Rachel the daughter of Laban his mother's brother, and the sheep of Laban his mother's brother, that Jacob went near, and rolled the stone from the well's mouth, and watered the flock of Laban his mother's brother. And Jacob kissed Rachel, and lifted up his voice, and wept. And Jacob told Rachel that he was her father's brother, and that he was Rebekah's son: and she ran and told her father. And it came to pass, when Laban heard the tidings of Jacob his sister's son, that he ran to meet him, and embraced him, and kissed him, and brought him to his house. And he told Laban all these things. And Laban said to him, Surely thou art my bone and my flesh. And he abode with him the space of a month. (Gen 29:10-14)
GOD can use us, even with our character flaws that He wants to change, to accomplish His will and His plans. His ways are above ours, and we cannot understand all the ways His plans are completed. As a perfect Father, GOD wants what is best for us, even when we cannot see the outcome. We glorify Him when we trust and obey Him, and leave the results to the Almighty GOD who knows us, and knows what He wants to do in and through us.
Most of all, He wants us to reach out in love to those outside the Church, in ministry, in teaching, and in sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He commands His Church, those He has purchased with His own blood on the Cross of Calvary, to minister to the hurting of this world as He provides and guides, to disciple one another in love and His Word, and to proclaim the Good News of forgiveness and Salvation through faith in what He has already done for sIn. We are commissioned to tell this lost and dying world of His love, and His just Judgment, that they may place their faith in His finished and perfect work on that cruel Roman Cross and be saved.
For GOD is not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance and the knowledge of the Truth. Jesus loves you and wants to establish a covenant relationship with you that is real and personal. Surrender to Him on His terms and He will give you a brand new life of discipleship and fellowship with Him that is abundant and everlasting. Turn away from your sIn and unrighteousness and trust what He has already done for you to pay your sIn debt. He has provided forgiveness and Salvation through Jesus Christ, the Son of GOD who is GOD the Son, and is our Life. Turn away from yourself and your sIn and turn to Him alone for eternal Life.
In Christ,
