And He said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for My strength is made perfect in weakness.
Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong. (2 Corinthians 12:9-10)
Jesus tells us quite plainly that all we need is Him. We don't need to add our own works, our own efforts for they are insufficient and He is all sufficient. The child of GOD has only to continue to trust in Him as we did at our new birth, no matter what circumstances come our way as He already knows what we have need of and will provide for us. Our Heavenly Father cared enough to send His Son to die for us, He cares enough to watch over His own, and He will continue to provide His all sufficient grace on our behalf. Our weakness; being unable to save ourselves, being unable to direct many of the circumstances that affect us, and being unable to even stop the death of our physical bodies; all these weaknesses are strengths when Jesus pours out His mercy and grace on our behalf. In salvation, it is sufficient and complete at the cross. In events and happenings, it is sufficient for He is Sovereign. In death, it is sufficient for He has already promised a new body because of our new birth and position in Him.
And His grace is sufficient for anyone. Those who are not yet a part of the Kingdom of GOD by Faith, are so because they have not surrendered to GOD on His terms, and received that grace. The Bible says you are lost, you are dead in your sIns, and await the judgment. A just judgment and punishment for sIn before a righteous and Holy GOD who is right to punish those that have rebelled against Him. But, GOD is not willing that any should perish so He sent His Son, the GOD-Man Jesus Christ to pay for our sIn. Our weakness of sIn, His strength of Salvation.
Trust and Obey; for there's no other way: Believe it and live it, today.
