Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb. Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. Delight thyself also in the LORD; and He shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in Him; and He shall bring it to pass. And He shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday. (Psalms 37:1-6)
To know what to ask for, and know how to ask, we need to be in His Word, and draw close to Him. The more we study what He has written about Himself, the more we get to know Him, and the more we know what He wants to do in, through, and for His own. Then we can ask what He has already said He wants to answer and we receive according to our faith, and His Will.
How delightful it is to not only know that we have the petitions we ask of GOD, because we ask in faith, and according to His will, but that we can rejoice in GOD our Saviour, our Provider, our Sustainer, and our Lord for all He has already done, and what He will do in answer to our prayers, that brings Him glory, honour, and praise.
But those that don't know GOD, and don't have saving faith in His finished work on the Cross of Calvary, cannot approach GOD as friend, for He is their judge. But, GOD is not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to the knowledge of the Truth. The Truth from GOD's Word that Jesus loves you and wants to establish a covenant relationship with you that is real and personal. He calls you to repent, to surrender to Him on His terms, and to receive by faith a brand new life of discipleship and fellowship with Him that is abundant and everlasting.
Believe His Word, and do His Will for you today.
In Christ,
