Righteous art Thou, O LORD, and upright are Thy Judgments. Thy Testimonies that Thou hast commanded are righteous and very faithful. My zeal hath consumed me, because mine enemies have forgotten Thy Words. Thy Word is very pure: therefore Thy servant loveth it. I am small and despised: yet do not I forget Thy Precepts. Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and Thy Law is the truth. Trouble and anguish have taken hold on me: yet Thy Commandments are my delights. The righteousness of Thy Testimonies is everlasting: give me understanding, and I shall live. (Psalms 119:137-144)
We understand His Word only as we are obedient to Him, as we study to show ourselves approved unto GOD, and as we live its precepts and commands in our walk with Him. He tells us to grow in grace and the knowledge of our Lord. He insists that we disciple one another in the Word of GOD. He commands us to tell others that do not know of the grace and love of Jesus Christ. We should have the zeal for His written Word as we do for Him, and the obedience to do what our Lord tells us to do.
We are told to have the mind of Christ, and to follow His heart. He loves everyone so much that He was willing to die for their sIn, all we have to do is live in Him, and share His mercy through the Gospel of Jesus Christ to everyone we meet.
If you are reading this and saying that is not me, I don't have that relationship then I have Good News for you: The Truth of the Gospel is that Jesus loves you and wants to establish a covenant relationship with you that is real and personal. If you believe His Word and surrender to Him on His terms, He will give you a brand new life of discipleship and fellowship with Him that is abundant and everlasting. Give Him all your troubles and rest in the delights of His Word and His Salvation today.
In Christ,
