Surely I would speak to the Almighty, and I desire to reason with GOD.
He also shall be my salvation: for an hypocrite shall not come before him. Hear diligently my speech, and my declaration with your ears. Behold now, I have ordered my cause; I know that I shall be justified. Who is he that will plead with me? for now, if I hold my tongue, I shall give up the ghost. (Job 13:3, 16-19)
Job understood his salvation was not in himself or his sacrifices but in the GOD he trusted. He knew that his faith made him justified before GOD regardless of his friends counsels to the contrary. He continues to plead his cause to GOD and wished to do so face to face that GOD might hear him. Job trusted GOD for redemption and yet had many questions because he did not understand the trial and testing which GOD had allowed Job to experience. GOD promises wisdom to those who ask and He has given us knowledge of Himself through His Word.
How privileged we are to speak to the Almighty because of our faith in Him and His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary. Because we have repented of our sins and been born again, we have been accepted into the beloved and made a part of His family and we can come boldly unto the throne of grace with our petitions. We know that He hears us because His Word tells us that He hears the prayers of the righteous, and those that are in Christ are made righteous by His blood shed for their sins on that tree.
Those that are playing church, who are not the Christian that they think they are, who are playing games with the Almighty are in dangerous hands. GOD is not willing that any should perish, but He is not mocked, and we all reap what we sow. Continued rebellion in the face of GOD will lead to justice and judgment. A person is either justified by faith in Christ or remains condemned by his own sin apart from the salvation which GOD has already paid for. GOD calls His people to live in Him the live He has given us, though it means we are strangers and pilgrims in this world, that we might represent Him and draw those who do not know Jesus Christ unto Himself.
GOD calls His people to be His ambassadors as Kingdom citizens with His Word of reconciliation and righteousness, rightly divided and fitly spoken, to minister to those around us who are hurting and in need. GOD commands His children to love one another and to disciple one another in the Word of GOD that we might grow thereby. GOD has commissioned His church to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all nations in the power of the Holy Spirit, and as we go where He sends us, proclaim the Good News of forgiveness through repentance and reconciliation with the Father through faith in His Son, that those who believe in Him and what He has already done for them might have life in His Name.
For GOD is not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance and the knowledge of the Truth. Jesus loves you and wants to establish a covenant relationship with you that is real and personal. Surrender to Him on His terms and He will give you a brand new life of discipleship and fellowship with Him that is abundant and everlasting. GOD calls you to trust Him and what He has already done for you to pay your sIn debt. He has provided the only way of reconciliation with GOD, forgiveness from GOD, and Salvation through Jesus Christ, the Son of GOD who is GOD the Son, to give you a new life in Christ. Turn away from yourself and your sIn and turn to Him alone for eternal Life, now and always.
