We are fools for Christ's sake, but ye are wise in Christ; we are weak, but ye are strong; ye are honourable, but we are despised. Even unto this present hour we both hunger, and thirst, and are naked, and are buffeted, and have no certain dwellingplace; And labour, working with our own hands: being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we suffer it: Being defamed, we intreat: we are made as the filth of the world, and are the offscouring of all things unto this day. (1Co 4:10-13)
We can handle a few insults, for GOD is Sovereign and His Word will not fail in its purposes. We can wait on Him, for He will not leave us, nor forsake us, and will provide for all our need, either in this life or the one to come, for we are His. He has empowered us to do His will and accomplish His work, even as He is working in us to conform us to the image of His dear Son.
We are here as His ambassadors, though strangers and pilgrims in this lost and dying world, to minister to those who are hurting and in need, to show them Christ. We are here as His disciples, to love one another and disciple one another in His Word, that we may grow thereby. We are here as His ministers of the Gospel, to share the Good News of Jesus Christ and His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary with all who will hear and believe, that in receiving Him by faith they might have life in His Name.
For GOD is not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance and the knowledge of the Truth. Jesus loves you and wants to establish a covenant relationship with you that is real and personal. Surrender to Him on His terms and He will give you a brand new life of discipleship and fellowship with Him that is abundant and everlasting. GOD calls you to trust Him and what He has already done for you to pay your sIn debt. He has provided the only way of reconciliation with GOD with forgiveness and Salvation through Jesus Christ, the Son of GOD who is GOD the Son, to give you a new life in Christ. Turn away from yourself and your sIn and turn to Him alone for eternal Life, now and always.
In Christ,
