And it came to pass, when Moses went out unto the tabernacle, that all the people rose up, and stood every man at his tent door, and looked after Moses, until he was gone into the tabernacle. And it came to pass, as Moses entered into the tabernacle, the cloudy Pillar descended, and stood at the door of the tabernacle, and the LORD talked with Moses. And all the people saw the cloudy Pillar stand at the tabernacle door: and all the people rose up and worshipped, every man in his tent door. And the LORD spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend. And he turned again into the camp: but his servant Joshua, the son of Nun, a young man, departed not out of the tabernacle. And Moses said unto the LORD, See, Thou sayest unto me, Bring up this people: and Thou hast not let me know whom Thou wilt send with me. Yet Thou hast said, I know thee by name, and thou hast also found grace in My sight. Now therefore, I pray Thee, if I have found grace in Thy sight, shew me now Thy way, that I may know Thee, that I may find grace in Thy sight: and consider that this nation is Thy people. (Exo 33:8-13)
Moses meets with GOD in the Tabernacle of His presence, and there communes with GOD as a friend. Because Moses had found grace in the sight of the Lord, GOD met him face to face. While there, Moses questioned the plan the GOD had for him, and the faithfulness of the people of GOD. The Lord let him know, that there were people obedient to God that would go with Moses, but even better, that He would go with Moses and it would be sufficient.
GOD's grace is sufficient for us, and He will supply all our needs through Jesus Christ. Our Lord has redeemed us out of darkness into His marvelous light, and we are to trust His provision for His people. He knows the plans He has for us, and there is nothing that surprises Him. His ways and thoughts are above ours and yet He tells us of Himself through His Word, so we who have trusted His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary can know Him as our friend.
He goes with us, and before us, and has work for us to do. The tabernacle of God is now with those who receive Him by faith, and receive His forgiveness and reconciliation with God through the blood of Jesus Christ. That is our message of hope and mercy. That is our song of grace that we are to sing in praise and to draw people to GOD as we lift Him up in worship.
He has called us to minister to the hurting and those in need as He provides, so people see Jesus in us, the hope of Glory. We are commanded to disciple one another in love and in His Word, so we may grow in grace and the knowledge of our Lord. He has commissioned us, with His gifts, to go and make disciples, taking the Gospel of Jesus Christ to this lost and dying world. As we go, we are to tell the Good News to all who will hear, and believe, that in believing on Him they might have life in His Name.
For GOD is not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance and the knowledge of the Truth. Jesus loves you and wants to establish a covenant relationship with you that is real and personal. Surrender to Him on His terms and He will give you a brand new life of discipleship and fellowship with Him that is abundant and everlasting. GOD is Holy and must punish sIn, but in His mercy GOD calls you to trust Him and what He has already done for you to pay your sIn debt. He has provided the only way of reconciliation with GOD with forgiveness and Salvation through Jesus Christ, the Son of GOD who is GOD the Son, to give you a new life in Christ. Turn away from yourself and your sIn and turn to Him alone for eternal Life, now and always.
In Christ,
