And thou shalt make a vail of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen of cunning work: with cherubims shall it be made: And thou shalt hang it upon four pillars of shittim wood overlaid with gold: their hooks shall be of gold, upon the four sockets of silver. And thou shalt hang up the vail under the taches, that thou mayest bring in thither within the vail the Ark of the Testimony: and the vail shall divide unto you between the Holy Place and the Most Holy. And thou shalt put the mercy seat upon the Ark of the Testimony in the most Holy Place. And thou shalt set the table without the vail, and the candlestick over against the table on the side of the tabernacle toward the south: and thou shalt put the table on the north side. (Exo 26:31-35)
The design and specification of the Tabernacle for the children of Israel to worship GOD. With the Holy of Holies in the midst, and inside the Ark of the Testimony, where GOD would meet His people. The fine garments and gold remind us of the Majesty of GOD, and the veil separates the people from GOD. GOD is Holy and without the sacrifice of blood to cover their sIn, the people could not approach GOD and stand in His presence.
That veil today is torn for Christ has opened the door, paid the price for our sIn with His own blood. He fulfilled all that GOD has spoken of the Messiah in His first appearance and is the only way to the Father. Those of us who have received Him and His forgiveness by our faith in His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary are born again, accepted into the beloved, and no longer separated from GOD. We can rejoice in the new creation of GOD within us, and His continued work in us to conform us to the image of His dear Son.
Until He takes us Home to be with Him, He commands us to love one another. We are to show grace to others and minister to their needs as He gives the increase, so that others see Jesus in us, the hope of Glory. We have been called to be a disciple, a committed, disciplined follower of our Master, Jesus Christ, that we may be ready always to give an answer to those that ask of the hope that is in us with meekness and fear. We have been commissioned to take the whole Word to the whole world, to preach the Gospel to all nations. As we go we are to teach all things He commanded to all people that they might hear and believe the Good News of Jesus Christ and believing have life in His Name.
For GOD is not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance and the knowledge of the Truth. Jesus loves you and wants to establish a covenant relationship with you that is real and personal. Surrender to Him on His terms and He will give you a brand new life of discipleship and fellowship with Him that is abundant and everlasting. GOD calls you to trust Him and what He has already done for you to pay your sIn debt. He has provided the only way of reconciliation with GOD with forgiveness and Salvation through Jesus Christ, the Son of GOD who is GOD the Son, to give you a new life in Christ. Turn away from yourself and your sIn and turn to Him alone for eternal Life, now and always.
