Without Excuse

Woe unto them that decree unrighteous decrees, and that write grievousness which they have prescribed; To turn aside the needy from judgment, and to take away the right from the poor of My people, that widows may be their prey, and that they may rob the fatherless! And what will ye do in the day of visitation, and in the desolation which shall come from far? to whom will ye flee for help? and where will ye leave your glory? Without Me they shall bow down under the prisoners, and they shall fall under the slain. For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still. (Isaiah 10:1-4)

GOD declares a clear condemnation to those that violate His Law and trample on His people for greedy gain; whether they are Jews during Isaiah's day, or the Church today; regardless of whether they are unscrupulous businessmen, hypocritical religious leaders, or self-righteous politicians.  It doesn't matter whether it is politics, religion, or business GOD holds us all accountable for our actions, and our obedience to His Word.  We in the Church, who have experienced the new birth through faith in Jesus Christ, are not condemned for our sIn, but we are without excuse for our behavior and disobedience to Him.  He calls us to the Standard of His Word, and His Son; and we are to be set apart, and different from the World as He conforms us to the Image of Jesus Christ.

But, those outside of the Church, who have never received Him and are still at war with GOD are condemned already.  GOD is not willing that any should perish and calls everyone everywhere to repent.  We shall all face judgment, and if you die without Christ the blood He shed for you will not pardon you and your sIn.  Believe His Word, and trust Him today.

If you are one of His, be obedient to His Word and let Him accomplish what He wants in you.
