I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of GOD, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto GOD, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of GOD. For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as GOD hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office: So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another. (Rom 12:1-5)
GOD is very reasonable and yet deserves our total devotion for He is GOD and there is no other. He is our Saviour and worthy of all our service and love. He is our King and worthy of all our worship and praise. He is our life and because of what He has done for us, we owe it to everyone else to share Him with others. He is our Lord and demands that we grow in Him and renew our minds through His Word. We are His and He is worthy to receive all honour, glory, and praise from His own.
As members one of another, we are to glorify Him in our bodies, our minds, our words, and our actions. We are to glorify Him in our assemblies, our services, our worship. We are to glorify Him in our missions, our discipleship, and our witness, for Christ is GOD, and we are here to do His will and accomplish His work until He brings us Home to be with Him.
Until that day, we are to minister to the hurting and in need as GOD gives the increase. We are to disciple one another in the Word that we may grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord. We are to love one another, as members of His body, the Church, that all will know we are His disciples. We are to go and make disciples with the Gospel, and as we go share the Good News of forgiveness and reconciliation with GOD through repentance and faith in His finished and perfect work on the Cross of Calvary, so that those who hear and believe may have life in His Name.
For GOD is not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance and the knowledge of the Truth. Jesus loves you and wants to establish a covenant relationship with you that is real and personal. Surrender to Him on His terms and He will give you a brand new life of discipleship and fellowship with Him that is abundant and everlasting. GOD calls you to trust Him and what He has already done for you to pay your sIn debt. He has provided the only way of reconciliation with GOD with forgiveness and Salvation through Jesus Christ, the Son of GOD who is GOD the Son, to give you a new life in Christ. Turn away from yourself and your sIn and turn to Him alone for eternal Life, now and always.
